How Move-In Works
Blue Mountain Residential Care Home is a licensed Adult Foster Home in Oregon City, Oregon. Call (971) 207-5848 to discuss your loved one's care needs and ask about the next available opening.
Before any move-in, a care assessment helps determine whether our home can provide the daily and nighttime support your parent needs.
Is there currently a room available?
Call (971) 207-5848 to ask about availability and the waitlist — there is no waitlist form. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee a move-in date. Availability depends on an opening and an assessment of whether our home can meet your parent's needs.
Why is a care assessment required?
Residents have different needs for bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, memory support, supervision, medication assistance, and overnight care. The assessment helps us understand those needs before move-in and determine whether our home is an appropriate fit.
What should you have ready before you tour?
Be ready to describe the help your parent needs with meals, dressing, bathing, toileting, mobility, medication, and care at night. If you are unsure, tell us. You do not need to decide on a care level before calling.
Step by step
What are the steps for moving in?
Five steps, starting with a call and ending on move-in day.
Get in touch
Call (971) 207-5848 or send the form to request a tour. Tours are by appointment, so say what times suit you.
Visit our home
When a visit is available, tour the rooms and shared spaces, meet the caregivers, and see whether the setting feels comfortable for your family. Bring anyone involved in the decision.
Complete a care assessment
The assessment reviews daily assistance, memory, mobility, supervision, medications, and nighttime needs. It helps determine whether our home can provide the required support and what care plan may be appropriate.
Review the care plan and agreement
Before agreeing to move in, review the care plan, monthly rate, included services, possible additional charges, policies, and notice requirements in writing. Ask any questions you need answered before making a decision.
Prepare for move-in day
Once an opening is available and the care plan is approved, we'll coordinate the move-in details with your family. Residents are welcome to bring familiar belongings and furniture that fit their room.
